Report: US President Trump says Russia should return to G8

MOSCOW, Jun 8 (PRIME) -- U.S. President Donald Trump thinks that Russia should return to the Group of Eight leading industrial nations (G8), Bloomberg reported on Friday.

Reuters also reported that Russia should participate in the summit of the Group of Seven leading industrial nations (G7), which has started on Friday and is to end on Saturday.

Sahra Wagenknecht, one of the leaders of the German party The Left, previously supported the return of Russia to the G8 format in order to boost opposition to the U.S.
